Training for Bilingual SLP CF Candidates
Evanston, IL (Vocus) [April 30, 2012] – Lingua Health LLC is offering a bilingual immersion training program to 10 Spanish-English CF candidates graduating in 2012, providing hands-on experience with a highly bilingual school population.
“This is a unique opportunity to work with exceptional bilingual CF mentors, children and CF peers on a challenging caseload,” said John Consalvi, CCC-SLP, Lingua Health founder and CEO, who is also a bilingual SLP.
All CFs in the program will be trained in speech-language pathology diagnostics and therapy while they work in a single school district toward a common goal of making the school district a model for bilingual speech-language pathology.
Lingua Health will select 10 candidates from across the country for the program and is offering relocation support to qualified candidates. Qualifications include bilingual Spanish-English proficiency as well as having graduated from an ASHA certified speech-language pathology graduate program as of August 1, 2012.
Interested candidates can learn more by contacting John Consalvi (847-424-0100 ext. 201) or by submitting their resume on Lingua Health’s web site.
