Lingua Health and Grupo Lingua Offer Two $3,500 Awards to University Clinics and Students through Clinical Success Award Competition

Lingua Health LLC and Grupo Lingua LLC are offering two $3,500 awards to recognize gains made in speech-language pathology while motivating speech-language pathology student clinicians to provide exceptional service to the children and adults they serve.

Evanston, IL (Vocus) [April 6, 2011] – Lingua Health LLC and its bilingual resource, Grupo Lingua LLC are offering university affiliated speech-language pathology (SLP) clinics and students an opportunity to win two $3,500 awards through the Lingua Health SLP Clinical Success Award competition.

“Graduate student clinicians make gains every day during their training sessions at university clinics,” said John Consalvi, Lingua Health and Grupo Lingua Founder and CEO. “This competition is a way to celebrate those successes and motivate students to continue to strive to be the best in their field through innovation, creativity and perseverance.”

A simple online format enables students to submit short entries showcasing their monolingual or bilingual SLP clinical success stories April 4 through December 15, 2011. During this time, the entries are available online for public viewing and comment.

“The earlier students submit an entry, the more opportunity there will be to showcase their success,” said Consalvi.

Starting on December 16, Lingua Health and Grupo Lingua SLP professionals will narrow the entries based on how well they meet the award criteria. The top monolingual and bilingual submissions will be announced online on January 1, and the community will vote for their favorite top entry. The monolingual and bilingual entries to receive the most votes by February 27, 2012, will each win $3,000 for the university affiliated SLP clinic and $500 for the submitting graduate student.

Winners will be announced on February 28, 2012.
